we might work well together if…

You're looking for someone real, direct, a little laidback, and yes, I may swear. You're done with surface-level and you want someone who actually can dive deep, beyond talk therapy, and shows up as a full human being every single time. You're open to being gently (or not so gently) challenged, and you actually want someone who trusts that you already hold so much wisdom within yourself.

You're curious, open, and somewhere deep down you know you're more powerful than you've been giving yourself credit for.

Bonus points if you're into weird witchy sh*t, the moon, a little magic and whimsy — or at least don't mind me mentioning it.

hi,

I'm

Ashley

My approach to therapy is designed to be different. I believe therapy should be a unique and dynamic journey tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Traditional talk therapy can be useful in some situations, but it has its limits when we need to dig deeper beyond the surface.

In order to truly address mental health, especially trauma, we must look beyond just the mind. "Mental health is health," involves the entire body and all its systems. This awareness is woven into all that I do and will support you in becoming your own expert as we rebuild trust within, boost your intuition and reconnection to self, while shifting any limiting beliefs we may be carrying.

I integrate nontraditional techniques, somatic therapies like EMDR, parts work, and mindfulness with the opportunity to also utilize Ketamine Assisted Therapy.

I believe in our intrinsic ability to move towards healing. Sometimes these abilities become blocked, limited and feel inaccessible when we experience trauma, stress or other challenging experiences. This can leave us feeling disconnected, dissociated and heavy.

We will work together to unlock your inner wisdom and navigate challenges in a way that resonates with you.

I understand the impact of past experiences and work with you to build back safety in a supportive environment where you feel empowered to heal. As you shed old patterns and release what no longer serves, you will form new pathways for a journey towards your authentic self. This is your journey, and I'm here to walk alongside you, offering guidance and support as you explore, reclaim and thrive.

My Own Self-Care

Personally, I work hard on my own self-care and discovery by prioritizing my own healing journey. I found connection in yoga and stillness in meditation. Practicing presence and pause. Breathing in the little moments and sitting with the more challenging. I've learned to listen to my intuition and to what I need through diving deep into understanding more about my own nervous system. Although it isn't perfect and takes work, we can learn to become more conscious in our day to day. Take comfort and gratitude for quality moments over quantity and release guilt to welcome in compassion. I believe in the importance of therapists doing their own work as well as understanding how our own biases and privilege show up everyday.

I love being in nature and appreciating its abundance. As my children have grown, I have slowly made my way out of the fog and trenches of early motherhood. I have fallen in love with cold exposure and the many gifts it has given me. I rediscovered my love of poetry and made time again to spread my creative wings. You may see me with family or friends, walking around town, chasing the light in the waves, searching for treasures on the beach, or finding an icy spot to take a dip!

My intentions are to never lose appreciation for the moments of joy in life as well as understanding and acknowledging this privilege. For me, it's the beauty of a sunset, the gift of a sunrise, the awe of the mountains, the glow of the moon, the power of the sea, a laugh, a deep hug, and all of the mini moments in between.
